To encourage and develop the passion of young talents in the golf industry, Laguna Lăng Cô is organizing the “Write to Golf Legend Sir Nick Faldo” contest. This event is a unique platform for fans of the noble sport, young individuals who believe in the power of their words, and those who wish to share their dreams with one of the living legends of the sport – Sir Nick Faldo. This coincides with the international tournament named after the legend, set to take place at the Laguna Golf Lăng Cô in April 2025.
Purpose and meaning
The “Write to Golf Legend Sir Nick Faldo” contest aims to:
- Encourage and nurture a passion for golf among the youth.
- Provide an opportunity for young individuals to share their dreams and aspirations with one of the world’s greatest golf icons – Sir Nick Faldo.
- Strengthen the bond between the Vietnamese golf community and the legendary Sir Nick Faldo, thereby inspiring and motivating the next generation of golfers to develop.

“Share your dreams and aspirations in golf and the impact that Sir Nick Faldo has had on the development of this sport and your life.”
Rewards
- The winning letter will be published on Sir Faldo’s and Laguna Lăng Cô Golf Course’s social media platforms.
- A 3-day 2-night vacation for the family (4 guests) at Angsana Lăng Cô – Laguna Lăng Cô Resort.
Program rules
- Open to all students aged 12-21.
- A handwritten letter should be around 300 words (in English).
- The contest runs from March 26th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025. As per the postmark, letters must be sent via postal mail to Laguna Lăng Cô Resort by April 15, 2025.

- Only one letter per participant is allowed.
- Letter will be evaluated based on the passion for Golf and inspiration from Sir Nick Faldo. Uniqueness and creativity in expressing dreams and goals will also be important criteria.
