The Dubai-based airline will operate four weekly flights connecting the Middle East and Europe to the coastal city of Da Nang.
According to an announcement from the airline on March 3, the first flight will launch on June 2. In addition, the airline will also operate three weekly flights to Siem Reap, Cambodia, via a transfer in Bangkok, Thailand.
The round-trip flights to Da Nang will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with two class options: 35 business class seats and 368 economy class seats.

The airline stated that the flight schedule is designed to optimize passenger transport from major European cities such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester, Milan, and Rome, as well as major cities in the United States, to Da Nang.
Da Nang is the third destination in Vietnam that the airline has chosen to operate flights, following Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to connect affluent customers from the Middle East to the city by the Han River.
The flight, EK370, is scheduled to depart from Dubai at 9:00 AM and arrive in Bangkok at 6:25 PM, before departing from Bangkok at 8:10 PM and landing in Da Nang at 9:05 PM. On the return leg, flight EK371 will leave Da Nang at 11:30 PM, arriving in Bangkok at 1:10 AM, then departing Bangkok at 3:40 AM and landing in Dubai at 6:50 AM.

According to Mr. Adnan Kazim, Vice President and Commercial Director of Emirates, the expansion to Da Nang comes at a strategic time, following the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and Vietnam. The new flight route will enhance bilateral trade relations and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of Da Nang’s Department of Tourism, mentioned that the new flight route will promote the city to 150 countries and territories, helping to attract visitors for tourism and business, especially with the upcoming launch of the international financial center and free trade zone.
