Vietnam will be represented by a 14-golfer contingent at the final round of the prestigious Faldo Series Asia 2025, hosted at the renowned course in Lang Co, Hue.
The Vietnam national golf team’s coaching staff has finalised the selection of 14 key players set to compete from April 23rd to 25th. The host nation’s lineup for the Boys’ U21 category comprises Nguyen Duc Son, Doan Uy, and Ha Nam Khanh. Competing in the Boys’ U16 division are Nguyen Trong Hoang, Ho Anh Huy, Ngo Thanh Son, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Tran The Bao, Nguyen Xuan Vuong, and Nguyen Quoc Bao Huy. Meanwhile, Vietnam’s sole representative in the Girls’ U21 category is Than Bao Nghi, while the Girls’ U16 category features Nguyen Khanh Linh, Nguyen Bao Chau, and Hana Vuong.



Last year, Nguyen Duc Son made a strong impression by winning the tournament’s play-off, thereby claiming the championship title at the Faldo Series Asia 2024. This year, the golfer is participating again, aiming to defend his current championship status.
The entire tournament attracts 67 young golfers from various countries and territories in Asia, who are present in Lang Co (Hue) to compete. Athletes will compete over 3 rounds (a total of 54 holes).
This year’s Faldo Series Asia Grand Final marks the 16th time it has been held. The tournament is part of the Faldo Series system, founded by the legendary English golfer Sir Nick Faldo. It is highly regarded by experts for its professional standard, and young golfers who participate often achieve great success after attaining results here.
