This is an important cultural and tourism activity held within the framework of the National Tourism Year – Hue 2025, aimed at promoting tangible and intangible cultural values, natural landmarks, and the people of Vietnam. The exhibition offers a variety of rich and captivating displays.

The shared exhibition area, called “Space of Tourism, Cultural Heritage, and Scenic Sites of Vietnam”, presents to the public a range of remarkable displays, such as “Travelling through the heritage and scenic regions of Vietnam”, introducing the country, its people, and UNESCO-recognised heritage sites.

Photographs by artists portray special national monuments, tangible and intangible heritage items listed as national intangible cultural heritage, famous scenic spots, and the unique cultural life of ethnic communities across Vietnam.

The section on former and present capitals of Vietnam takes visitors to lands that were once the nation’s capital cities, deeply marked by historical and cultural legacies. It features tourism images and cultural heritage from Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Hue City, and Hanoi.

The section on the cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups focuses on introducing regional cultural heritages, including those of the Red River Delta, the valleys and highlands of northern Vietnam, and the Southern region. Some traditional instruments used in Southern folk music (Đờn ca tài tử) are also on display.

The exhibition area “Vietnamese Silk and the Story of the Ao Dai” tells the story of Vietnamese silk through refined, colourful fabrics that reflect the country’s traditional cultural identity. It also showcases collections of Ao Dai by designers, honouring and spreading the image of Vietnamese women’s beauty through Ao Dai across eras, aiming to elevate it as a “cultural item” in diplomacy, cultural development, and the promotion of Vietnamese tourism to the world.

Also featured is the “Vietnamese Tea Culture” space, which introduces tea products and facilitates cultural exchanges from provinces such as Dien Bien, Ha Giang, and Thai Nguyen.

The “Cultural Heritage and Scenic Tourism” spaces of 31 provinces and cities representing regions across the country introduce tangible and intangible heritage, historical sites, festivals, and renowned landscapes. It also features various types of tourism, tourism products, local cuisine, and regional specialties from areas such as Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Phu Yen, and Hue.

Throughout the exhibition days, there will be a series of vibrant art performances featuring artists and artisans from various provinces. The performances highlight regional cultural identities through shows such as “Sparkling Colours of Heritage”, “To the Land of Perfume”, “Rhythm of Youth”, and the art exchange “Vietnam – My Homeland”.

Notably, on the evening of 30 April, a special art programme titled “Vietnam Echoes the Triumphant Song” will be held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

The exhibition is a meaningful cultural activity that helps strengthen cooperation among provinces and cities in organising joint tourism and cultural-artistic initiatives. It also fosters community awareness and responsibility, especially among younger generations, in preserving and promoting the values of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, natural heritage, and in nurturing love for the homeland and national pride.
