As a distinctive event within the lineup for the Summer Festival – Hue Festival 2025, the “Hue – Culinary Capital” program aims to honor and promote the traditional culinary values of Hue as well as other regions nationwide.

Anticipated to receive over 50,000 visitors coming to explore and experience, this program will feature activities such as culinary demonstrations and experiences representing Vietnam’s three main regions; a 3D food exhibition utilizing AR technology; displays and artistic performances of fruit carving; and culinary showcases including: Van Cu – the essence of noodle craft, Bun bo Hue, and Salted rice – tracing its origins from folk tradition to the Royal Court.

The program features over 68 commercial and culinary booths, with participation from provinces and cities across the country’s three regions. It is organized as an integrated cultural and entertainment space, featuring captivating and distinctive artistic performances alongside culinary offerings. This aims to create a vibrant, appealing festival atmosphere deeply imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity for the extended holiday break.

In addition to the “Hue – Culinary Capital” program, several other events and activities are scheduled during this holiday period. These include the exhibition titled “Space of Tourism, Cultural Heritage, Landmarks and Traditional Craft Products of Vietnam”, running from April 27th to May 2nd at the Hue City Center for Culture and Cinema (41A Hung Vuong Street, Thuan Hoa District), featuring participation from provinces and cities across the nation.
