Attendees included Mr. Norasak Suksomboon, Vice Governor of Phuket Province; Mr. Siripakorn Cheawsamoot, Deputy Governor for International Marketing at the Tourism Authority of Thailand; and Dr. Santi Pawai, Chief General Inspector of the Ministry of Tourism & Sports. In 2022, the Thai government announced the Andaman Wellness Economic Corridor project to develop medical tourism in six Andaman provinces, with Phuket as the leading destination. Medical tourism in Thailand has gradually recovered from 2020 to 2022 with a growth rate of up to 36%.” He added, “The new clinic at Laguna Phuket is a testament to our commitment to making Phuket a leading health destination in Thailand and the Andaman region.”
Mr. Ho Kwon Ping shared, “Phuket has tremendous potential as a wellness destination. Our collaboration aims to provide luxury wellness services, attracting global tourists and significantly contributing to the local economy.”
